Aim and Scope

Journal of Gynecology and Clinical Obstetrics is dedicated to advancing the health of women across their lifespan by bridging the gap between academic research and clinical practice. Its primary aim is to serve as a high-impact platform for the publication of original research, case reports, images, brief reports, clinical trials, reviews, etc. that directly influence the standards of care in reproductive medicine and women’s health.

Scope
Journal of Gynecology and Clinical Obstetrics publishes high-quality scholarly work that addresses the full spectrum of clinical, surgical and research developments in gynecology, obstetrics and women’s health. Journal of Gynecology and Clinical Obstetrics focuses on advancing evidence-based practice, improving patient outcomes and supporting innovation in both developed and resource-limited healthcare settings.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Obstetrics and Maternal Health: Antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care; high-risk pregnancies; maternal morbidity and mortality; obstetric complications; labor and delivery management 

  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine: Fetal growth and development, prenatal screening and diagnosis, fetal anomalies, fetal therapy and perinatal outcomes 

  • Gynecology: Benign gynecological disorders, menstrual abnormalities, endometriosis, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and chronic pelvic pain 

  • Gynecologic Oncology: Cancers of the cervix, uterus, ovaries, vulva and vagina; screening, prevention, diagnosis and management

  • Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Disorders: Urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and reconstructive pelvic surgery
